CLAT 2017

10th CLAT 2017 exam is being organized by Chanakya National Law University, Patna. This year 18 National Law Universities (NLUs) is participating in CLAT for admissions to their LAW UG and PG degree programmes. Admission in NLUs will be provided on the basis of merit-cum-preference i.e. CLAT Rank and order of preference given by the candidate in the CLAT application form. The important dates for CLAT 2017 are given below.

Eligibility Criteria for Under-Graduate (5 Years) Program

Qualification: Senior Secondary School/Intermediate (10+2) or its equivalent certificate from a recognized Board with not less than 45% marks in aggregate (40% in case of SC and ST candidates). Students whose results are awaited can also appear in the test.
Age:

  • Candidates shall be below Twenty (20) Years of age as on 1st July 2017 in case of all Unreserved/NRIs/NRI Sponsored categories candidates.
  • Candidates shall be below Twenty Two (22) years of age as on 1st July 2017 in case of SC/ST/ OBC/Specially Abled Persons (SAP) category candidates.
