12th CLAT 2019 exam is being organized by The National Law University Odisha, Cuttack (NLUO). This year 21 National Law Universities (NLUs) is participating in CLAT for admissions to their LAW UG and PG degree programmes.
For better coordination amongst National Law Schools to achieve highest standards of legal education in the country, "The Consortium of National Law Universities" was established on 19th August, 2017 with its headquarters in NLSIU, Bengaluru.
Admission in NLUs will be provided on the basis of merit-cum-preference i.e. CLAT Rank and order of preference given by the candidate in the CLAT application form. The important dates for CLAT 2019 are given below.
CLAT 2019 Important Change Notice
- CLAT 2019 Exam which was on 12th May 2019 now has been rescheduled to be conducted on Sunday, 26th May 2019, from 3pm to 5pm. Read out official notification
- CLAT 2019 online application date also extended. Now CLAT aspirants can apply till 15th April 2019.

Eligibility Criteria for Under-Graduate (5 Years) Program
Qualification: Senior Secondary School/Intermediate (10+2) or its equivalent certificate from a recognized Board with not less than 45% marks in aggregate (40% in case of SC and ST candidates). Students whose results are awaited can also appear in the test.
- From 2019, as per the new rules, there will be no upper age limit for UG Programme.
