  • What is SSC?
    SSC is used to call as short name for Staff Selection Commission in India, is mainly Govt. Organization to conduct recruitment process for staffs in different central govt. Offices. SSC is having its head office in Delhi with other regional offices in Allahabad, Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Guwahati, Chennai, Bangalore and two Sub-Regional Offices at Raipur and Chandigarh.
  • Is SSC conducting examination online or offline?
    From the year 2016, SSC starts conducting its examination online for all ssc recruitment exams.
  • What is the List of exams that SSC conducts?
    SSC conducts open recruitment exams for graduate, 10+2 & 10th level candidates for the post of UDC, LDC, DEO, MTS, SI in CPO - Central Forces & in Delhi Police, Auditors, Compiler, Tax Assistant, Accountant, Statistical Investigator, Income Tax Officer, Jr. Engineer etc in which any eligible candidates can appear. Other departmental examinations are also conducted by ssc for promotions purpose of staffs.
  • What is the SSC selection process?
    SSC conducts two or three stages written examination (known as ssc tier I, tier II & tier 3 exams) & skill test. In recent times, Indian govt. has decided to exclude the interview process. Tier 3, which is a descriptive test conducted only for ssc cgl exam. For ssc chsl & steno exams, tier 2 is the descriptive test.

    First of all make sure that you are eligible to appear for those particular vacancies or not.
