LIC invites the online application for the post of AAO (Assistant Administrative Officer). An all India based online computer examination will be held in month of March 2016 for the participating candidates.
This will be a 120 minutes examination in which 160 objective types of questions will be asked. - Age: Candidates age should be 21 to 30 years for General Category candidates & Relaxations in upper age limit for Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe(ST) is 5years, for OBC 3years & PWD (Gen) is 10 years; is given.
- Educational Qualification: Candidates must have Bachelor/Master’s Degree from a recognized Indian University/ Institution.
Candidates will have to make the payment of Application Fees/Intimation Charges through the On-Line Mode as under:
- For SC/ST/ PWD Candidates Intimation Charges of Rs. 100/- plus Transaction Charges
- For all Other Candidates Application Fee-cum-Intimation Charges of Rs. 600/- plus Transaction Charges

Call Letters/Admit Card: Candidates will have to visit the website under the heading “Careers” on website http://www.licindia.in/careers.htm for downloading call letters for on-line examination from the last week of February, 2016 onwards. Intimation for downloading call letter will also be sent through e-mail/SMS also.
The candidate is required to use to download Call Latter
- Registration Number/Roll number,
- Password/Date of Birth for downloading the call letter.
Important Documents to bring for LIC AAO CBT: Candidate should affix recent recognizable photograph on the call letter preferably the same as provided during registration and appear at the examination centre with (i) The Call Letter (ii) Photo Identity Proof as stipulated in the Call Letter and Photocopy of the same Photo Identity Proof as brought in original.
Selection Procedure: Selection will be made on the basis of performance in the on-line Examination followed by a personal interview of short listed candidates and subsequent Pre-Recruitment Medical Examination.
