State Bank of India invites online application for the post of probationary officers for the 2200 posts including 168 backlog vacancies via notification no. [CRPD/PO/2016-17/02] on 4th May 2016. Last date of submitting online application is 24th May 2016.
There is not change in the examination pattern & syllabus this time by SBI for PO recruitment process except there will be a lock time for each section in Main exam. Candidates have to appear in Preliminary exam which is scheduled on 4 different dates of July i.e. 2nd, 3rd, 9th & 10th July 2016. SBI will select no. of candidates 10 times prior to no. of vacancies for the Main exam. This year SBI also announced Main exam and Group Discussion/Interview date which are scheduled on 31st July 2016 & 1st September 2016 respectively.

How to Apply
Candidates can apply online only from 04-05-2016 to 24-05-2016 and there is no other mode of application. Candidates will be required to register themselves online through Bank’s website www.sbi.co.in/careers or www.statebankofindia.com/careers. After registration, candidates are required to pay the requisite application fee through online mode by using Debit Card/ Credit Card/Internet Banking.

Call Letters for Examination
The candidates can download their call letter on SBI website by entering their registration number and password/date of birth. SBI will not send any hard copy to any candidates by post.
